Spring is in the air which means it's time for The OK Chorale's annual concert of songs from around the world. Once again The OK Chorale are delighted to be sharing the bill with the women's ensemble Heartbeat.

The concert is at St. Mary's Church, Woodbridge on Saturday 1 April at 7.30pm. Tickets £6 (£3 under 16s), all profits to the charity WaterAid (improving access to safe water and sanitation).

Formed in Woodbridge in January 2011 by Chris Rowbury, the 50-strong OK Chorale present an evening of warm soulful harmonies and exuberant rhythms with songs of passion and joy from across the globe.

The OK Chorale will be joined for the second time by Heartbeat, formed 25 years ago to give women in the Halesworth area the opportunity to sing together. The 15-strong Heartbeat perform regularly and have a wide repertoire of world music and contemporary songs.

Expect a rousing English Easter carol, haunting Scottish folk, infectious African rhythms, African-American gospel, a Moravian lullaby and much more in a vibrant celebration of harmony singing with not an instrument or backing track in sight.

Tickets available on-line at http://chrisrowbury.com (go to Concerts), or email chris@chrisrowbury.com, or phone Chris on 01394 610486, or on the door.
